The Council Of Lords was created to solve a lot of the problems that
were generated in past seasons. The idea of a king is romantic but impractical.
It allowed for one person to make all-encompassing changes without acknowledging
the will of the people. By having a council and a system to address and solve
problems, we will allow everyone to have a say. The purpose of the council
is to bring the members of the S.C.P. together and enhance our fun. There
are three council members, the lord of each clan, Lord Boon (President), Lord
Daemon (Vice-President), and Lord Grey (Treasurer).
Once a month we have a Meeting Of Lords. The meeting is for anyone who
wishes to know what's going on with our group and so far the meetings have
been a great success and a lot of fun. I would like to encourage everyone
who has something to contribute or even if you just want to come and listen,
to come and see what the meetings are all about.
We also have an Opening Council (12:00pm) and Closing Council
(4:00pm). I encourage all members of the S.C.P. to participate in this
important ritual. It helps to bind us together and make the group stronger.
It also allows us to address problems as they occur.
